Finito il mese di agosto e rientrati dalle vacanze si può ufficialmente dare il via alla nuova stagione videoludica che apre i battenti con delle uscite da capogiro partendo dal 4 settembre con la nuova espansione di Destiny 2, I Rinnegati, che porterà tante novità all’interno del titolo targato Bungie e Activision con nuove attività, un nuovo Raid e diverse modalità inedite che andranno a rimpolpare le possibilità di gioco; lo stesso giorno anche Square Enix scende in campo con il suo Dragon Quest XI: Echi di un’era Perduta, quest’ultimo seguirà il viaggio di un eroe perseguitato che scoprirà il mistero del suo destino con l’aiuto di un vivace gruppo di personaggi secondari.

Qualche giorno di pausa, solo due a dire il vero, e si ritorna in carreggiata con Marvel’s Spider-Man la nuova esclusiva Sony sviluppata dai ragazzi di Insomniac Games che ci porterà a vivere le avventure dell’iconico supereroe e di Peter Parker affrontando i più temibili nemici tra cui troveremo Rhino, Electro e Mister Negativo.

Neanche il tempo per girovagare per le strade di New York che l’11 settembre potremo mettere le mani sul nuovo capitolo della serie NBA 2K, NBA 2K19, il cestistico per eccellenza con la possibilità di utilizzare per la prima volta LeBron James con la casacca dei Los Angeles Lakers.

Finalmente un po’ di pausa penserete e invece no, dato che il 14 sarà il turno di Shadow of the Tomb Rider con Square Enix e Eidos Montreal che ci porteranno ad esplorare le insidie mortali della giungla con tanto di tombe spaventose e una nuova minaccia di entità catastrofica.

Penultimo titolo da segnalare di questo mese è senza dubbio Life is Strange 2. Due fratelli, Sean e Daniel Diaz, di 16 e 9 anni, sono obbligati a scappare di casa dopo un tragico incidente a Seattle. Per paura della polizia, Sean e Daniel vanno verso il Messico cercando di nascondere allo stesso tempo un superpotere improvviso e misterioso.

Il mese si chiude con un degli sportivi più attesi di questo periodo, ossia FIFA 19, il nuovo capitolo della serie targata EA Sports che promette di portare alcune interessanti novità al gameplay e l’aggiunta della licenza della UEFA Champions League.
