L’ultimo mese dell’anno è ormai iniziato ma il freddo, la neve e gli alberi di Natale non impediscono agli sviluppatori di portare tra i videogiocatori ulteriori titoli da prendere al Day One con la possibilità di chiudere l’anno con qualche nuova perla tra le mani.

Si parte subito alla grande con Nintendo che porta su Switch l’attesissimo Xenoblade Chronicles 2 l’1 dicembre, il JRPG targato Monolith Soft che promette ore ed ore di intrattenimento grazie ad una trama incredibile e ad un combat system molto strutturato.

Lo stesso giorno c’è pane anche per i giocatori VR con DOOM VFR che sbarca sulle piattaforme HTC Vive e PlayStation VR portando lo sparatutto Bethesda ad un ulteriore livello di immersione.

Il 5 dicembre invece i giocatori di Destiny 2 potranno tornare a vestire i panni dei Guardiani con la prima espansione “La Maledizione di Osiride” che porterà diversi nuovi contenuti tra cui missioni principali, assalti e una nuova tipologia di Raid.

Il giorno dopo ritorna tra gli scaffali uno dei più grandi titoli Sony di quest’anno, Horizon: Zero Dawn -Complete Edition, che arriva nella sua versione completa con incluso il DLC The Frozen Wilds.

Il 7 dicembre è il momento di un gradito ritorno su PlayStation 4, stiamo parlando di Yakuza Kiwami 2, il remake del secondo capitolo della serie che ritorna in auge con un comparto tecnico rivisto e migliorato.

Stessa sorte per il celebre Okami che ritorna con Okami HD una versione remasterizzata del gioco in arrivo il 12 dicembre su PC, PS4 e Xbox One.

Ma il 12 dicembre è anche la data d’uscita del fenomeno mondiale PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds su Xbox One nella sua versione Early Access che permetterà ai giocatori Microsoft di metter le mani su uno dei titoli più importanti del 2017, almeno per quanto riguarda l’aspetto mediatico.

Si chiude poi l’anno con l’uscita il 22 dicembre di Mario Party: The Top 100 su Nintendo 3DS, una raccolta dei migliori minigiochi presenti sui titoli della serie ispirata all’italiano baffuto che promette di intrattenere i grandi e piccini.
